Meghan & Ben- September 30th, 2017

So excited to share this beautiful wedding at Laurel Creek Manor orchestrated by Holcomb Weddings & Events . Meghan and Ben were such a treat to work with as well as their families. They chose a very classic pleated buttercream design with fresh floral from Paisley Petals Flower Studio and cake topper by Paper & Pine Co. They had our signature cake bites to offer their guests with a delicious assortment of flavors to try including Salted Lime Margarita, Raspberry Confetti and Cinnamon Roll with cute little wood plaques from Chalk Boss. There were also macarons from our friends over at The Sweetside.  Courtney Bowlden Photography did an amazing job capturing this beautiful display of sweets and so many more moments!

Suzanne & Andreas- Fiesta Wedding

Last May this amazing couple celebrated their wedding with a fun and festive celebration! From the handmade bouquet made of brooches, to the bright colors of decorations all over, it was a truly amazing day for these two. We had so much fun creating this embroidery style wedding cake to go along with all the colorful decorations.

The cake was iced in our Italian meringue buttercream and layered with fondant and buttercream details. We will never forget the excitement from Suzanne when she came to pick up the cake, it's what we live for as cake artists! Along with the beautiful design on the outside they had a mixture of Chocolate Decadence -which is our dark chocolate fudge cake with layers of chocolate cream and ganache and Italian Cream- coconut cake layered with coconut pecan cream cheese.

Borrowed & Blue- Fleurs & Filigree at DeLille Cellars


As the temperature drops and the days get shorter, we are thinking up new and creative ways to reflect and celebrate Fall. In this spirit of reflection, we would like to share one of our favorite fall wedding cakes from Margeaux and Nick’s wedding last October.

This “Fleurs and Filigree” wedding took place at DeLille Cellars--a small, intimate vineyard in beautiful Woodinville, Washington.  The bride and groom paired elegant simplicity with seasonal blooms and warm tones throughout the reception, and our custom cake capped the refinement of the day.

This three-tiered cake was elegant on the outside and a menagerie of flavors inside. Each layer delighted the palette; almond, lavender, and vanilla bean cakes were combined with cream cheese filling. The smooth Italian meringue buttercream design was finished with gold fondant bands and meticulously-designed and hand-crafted sugar poppies dipped in gold.
